What does the warranty cover?

Everything we make is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for two years from purchase. Hardware - zips, buckles, snaps and pulls - is covered for the practical life of the product.

Covered

• Seams that fail or unravel under normal use
• Zips that separate, jam or lose their pull
• Fabric that delaminates, pills abnormally or loses its coating prematurely
• Snaps, buttons and buckles that break

Not covered

• Ordinary wear - fading, thinning at friction points, stretched cuffs
• Damage from accidents, pets, improper washing or alteration
• Items bought secondhand or from an unauthorised reseller
• Loss or theft

The honest distinction

A defect is something that should not have happened. Wear is something that always will, eventually. A zip that fails in month three is a defect; a jacket you have worn daily for four winters showing thin elbows is wear.

Where a case sits in between, we tend to decide in your favour. If we cannot repair or replace under warranty, we will usually still offer a repair at cost.
