Customs duties, taxes and DDP explained
International orders ship DDP - delivered duty paid. Duties and import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout, so there is nothing to pay when the parcel arrives.
Why that matters
The alternative, DDU, leaves the courier to collect duty at the door, often with a handling fee attached and no warning. We would rather show you the true landed cost up front, even though it makes our checkout total look higher than sites that hide it.
If you are asked to pay on delivery
Do not pay it. Take a photo of the notice and send it to us with your order number. Being billed twice for duty is a paperwork error at the border and we will get it reversed - but it is far easier to fix before you have handed over money.
Returns and duty
Duty paid on an item you return is refunded along with the item. Original outbound shipping is not refunded unless the return is due to our error or a defect.
VAT and business orders
If you need a VAT invoice or are importing under your own EORI number, contact us before ordering and we will set the order up correctly.
